Vundana Dahya’s men’s street collection fuses antique Indian garments with Western tailored details, based on her own interpretation of Indian male attire of the early 1900s. Her colour palette was inspired by a recent visit to India where muted, dirty, dusty colours spoke to her Indian heritage. Combining clean tailored detailing with a subtle drape approach, Vundana’s work speaks of both a clean and masculine feeling, representing a higher class of street wear. As a clean yet casual collection for Winter,individual pieces may be dressed up or down, and thus worn in varying situations.
