Veronica Bartleet’s work, which is very concept driven, is produced with the intention to develop women’s garments that place an emphasis on men’s tailoring.

Veronica’s aesthetic is influenced by her own family dynamics. Veronica grew up being the youngest and only female with two elder brothers. This background drives the silhouettes of her collection. Through the use of men’s blocks and shapes, along with fabrics suitable for men’s wear, her work is symbolic of the notion that her brothers create a protective barrier for her. In collaboration with her eldest brother, artist Alexander Bartleet, Veronica has digitally printed photographs of his mixed media works on to her fabrics.
